Technology to Improve Communication & Accuracy

Olgoonik reached out to Sockeye to help find a software platform to replace the way they were tracking shareholder information. Much of Olgoonik’s shareholder information was managed on spreadsheets and through multiple databases. Olgoonik needed a flexible system to: • Sort shareholder information logically • Provide for quick and straight-forward data entry • Communicate more efficiently with shareholders • Report to Board of Directors key shareholder employment and geographical metrics • Determine eligibility and qualifications of shareholders for employment within Olgoonik Corporation’s portfolio of companies. • Adapt to changing and expanding functions being asked of the shareholder department

A Solution that Grows with the Corporation

Sockeye proposed the Tribal Systems solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform to help manage the shareholder information. Sockeye reviewed the existing spreadsheets and databases that contained shareholder data and worked with Olgoonik to get this imported into the new software, cutting down on delivery time. Olgoonik has found the system to be easy to use yet powerful enough to address varied needs. Olgoonik Corporation has been continuously increasing the use of the Tribal Systems software to handle the other needs and services the corporation provides to their shareholders. Olgoonik is currently working with Sockeye to implement the Shareholder Talent Bank module that resides on the same database to help track the skills and interests of their Shareholders for employment opportunities within the Olgoonik family of companies.

Realized Benefits and Future:

• The project included a straight-forward deployment, minimizing existing system downtime. • Training has been easy and end user adoption outstanding because of the familiar user-interface. • Deployment was customized to Olgoonik’s specific shareholder management needs, giving Olgoonik a tailored system that reflects the way they manage shareholder information and communication • Olgoonik has extended the use of the application, eliminating the need for the corporation to spend additionally on new software applications. • The corporation has identified the need to implement three additional Tribal Systems modules and will maximize the value of their current investment.
