What we’d like to do…

Between their Point of Sales and ERP applications, Island Companies Ltd was already capturing most of the data they wanted.  They needed to have tighter integrations and easier, more efficient ways to sift through the data to find the information needed more quickly.

Improving organization efficiency and data visibility…

Sockeye used SQL Business Intelligence tools and utilities within the existing software to speed up the process for consolidating data from all 27 stores from a one day delay to having the consolidated data no older than 20 minutes.  They also created a single spot to view the integration status of all stores to easily catch if a store goes off line.  In addition sockeye created tighter integrations between databases providing accurate information to everyone from the sales people on the floors to the administration staff in the back office.
