Engagement Management

Engagement Management is a systematic consultancy approach that initiates with the sales process and ends with an engagement closing.

It is Sockeye’s belief that in delivering quality products and services we must provide touch points with sales, technical professionals (developers, business analysts, network administrators, etc.), accounting, and any others necessary to assure that customer expectations are met and exceeded. Our Engagement Management structure helps to “standardize” the sales process and how that “sold” solution is translated into a “delivery” solution. When Project Managers and Business Analysts are involved in the sales part of the process with the customer the expectations are more likely to be set appropriately thus avoiding delays, resetting of scope, and adding additional customer training that could have been taken care of before the engagement started.

Each of our customers benefit from:

1. An overall client relationship manager who maintains the long term perspective and global management for the customer.
2. A specific project manager who oversees a project to ensure that the work is carried out according to plan and agreed upon expectations.
3. A designated consultant or consultants. The “brain trust” that helps solves client problems and builds relationships every day on the job.
